Virtual Leadership Luncheon: Meet the New President & CFO for Bayfront Health St. Petersburg

We are excited to host a Virtual Leadership Lunch with John Moore, the new President of Bayfront Health St. Petersburg, and LaTasha Barnes, the new Chief Financial Officer for Bayfront Health St. Petersburg, on October 27th from 12-1pm.

John Moore joined Orlando Health in 1997, as the corporate director of orthopedic services and then administrator of community services. John served as the administrator of campus and business development and chief operating officer of South Lake Hospital, in affiliation with Orlando Health, before being named President of South Lake Hospital in 2011.

John has served on a number of community boards.  He currently serves on the Lake Emergency Medical Services (EMS) Board of Directors and Cornerstone Hospice Palliative Care Board of Directors. He is also a fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives.

John earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration and a master’s degree in healthcare administration from the University of Kentucky.

As chief financial officer of Orlando Health Winnie Palmer Hospital for Women & Babies, LaTasha Barnes oversees all financial operations of the 350-bed Orlando Health Winnie Palmer Hospital for Women & Babies.

Prior to joining Orlando Health in 2018, LaTasha worked 15 years with Hospital Corporation of American (HCA), serving most recently as chief financial officer for Tampa Community Hospital. An experienced CPA, she also is a former auditor for Arthur Andersen and Deloitte & Touche.

LaTasha earned an undergraduate degree in accounting from Tennessee State University in Nashville and holds CPA licenses in both Florida and Tennessee.

She is a member of the National Association of Black Accountants and serves on the board of directors for Central Florida Community Arts, Girls on the Run Central Florida and the African American Chamber of Commerce Central Florida.
