Pinellas County Lunch Pals

With the help of over 130 business and community partners in Pinellas County, Lunch Pals change the lives of almost 2,000 kids each year. But there are so many more children who would benefit, and there are so many more people who would participate, if they only knew about the program.

Lunch Pals participants have a 30 minute VIRTUAL lunch once a week, with a student who needs a friend, a role model, a pal. HERE is a video about Lunch Pals. Although lunch won’t be in person, the virtual lunch experience will still be great – and more important than ever.

Why is Lunch Pals so valuable? Imagine what it is like for a child who is homeless or who lives in a group home. These children arrive at school struggling with low self-esteem and worries, making it difficult for them to be ready to learn and succeed. These students need a friend, a role model - a Lunch Pal.
