City officials work to alleviate permitting backlogs
The St. Petersburg Downtown Partnership enlisted Liz Abernethy, City of St. Pete's director of planning and development services to provide permitting process insight in a Dec. 14 webinar. Jason Mathis, CEO of the Partnership, said a regional developer was “floored” when he heard a city’s planning official was acknowledging an issue and working collaboratively to ascertain solutions.
