Downtown St. Petersburg Mobility Study

In partnership with the City of St. Petersburg and the Florida Department of Transportation, Forward Pinellas is conducting the Downtown St. Petersburg Mobility Study (DTSP Mobility Study).

The study has three major components:

·         Defining a vision for multi-modal mobility in the greater DTSP area

·         Testing improvement strategies

·         Identifying short- and long-term projects and programs that will improve mobility in and around DTSP

As a valued community leader, they need your help.

Next week, they will officially begin the initial outreach for the DTSP Mobility Study. They’ll be asking people about how they move around downtown, their biggest downtown transportation concern, and about how people prefer to provide input to us. They hope that you will explore the materials, complete the survey and share this information with those in your network who may be interested.

How you can help:

-          View the website

-          Take the survey

-          Share the survey on social media and by email

They understand that your time is limited and that there are many studies and projects happening in and around downtown St. Petersburg. They are working closely with the City of St. Petersburg, PSTA and others so that they know what has already been said and is in the works. Later this summer, they will begin holding virtual listening sessions. They are also exploring other ways for people to provide their thoughts and react to ideas, based on what they hear from our initial survey. Please consider joining for a listening session or providing your feedback through another way later this summer and throughout the DTSP Mobility Study process.

Working together, they hope to improve access and mobility for those in and around downtown St. Petersburg.
