The St. Petersburg Downtown Partnership was pleased to host a conversation with Speaker Designate Chris Sprowls yesterday focused on COVID-19, the healthcare response and Florida’s economy recovery efforts. Speaker Designate Sprowls talked about the challenges ahead. He also noted some of the positive things the Sunshine State has already done and will do in coming months to recover. At the end of the call, Speaker Designate Sprowls focused his remarks on the opportunity to push reset in our relationships and paradigms, recognizing that crises can force us to reexamine the world we live in and accelerate progress on problems that may have seemed intractable even a few months ago.
The Downtown Partnership will continue to host conversations with thought leaders and policy makers about COVID-19 in coming weeks. These member only conversations are by invitation only and are not recorded.
