TRANSFORMATIONAL PROJECTS

Downtown St. Pete is advancing a coordinated set of transformational investments that strengthen public spaces, drive innovation and enhance resilience. Planned reinvestment in historic Williams Park will restore its role as a civic gathering space through upgrades, programming and long-term management. Major redevelopment proposals for the Gas Plant District envision a mixed-use, innovation-led destination with housing, cultural assets and global convening space. Growth in the Innovation District and activation of the Pinellas Trail emphasize connectivity, sustainability and placemaking. Complementing development, the City is making significant infrastructure and resilience investments to protect residents, support recovery and prepare for future climate impacts.

"

We already have the roots, we have the foundation for it. So it's up to us to make it happen.
